Day 8: The NSAID Cleanse, and Leaving the Scabs Dry

Day 8. BPC-157 solo, other side of navel. Sciatic pain easing, foot skin still raw. Beetroot, turmeric, and ashwagandha all bumped up.

Day 8. August 15th, 2026. Arizona.

Injection — morning:

  • BPC-157: 10 units (500mcg), subcutaneous, left of navel — the other side from yesterday

Breakfast:

  • 7 pieces of bacon
  • Whole avocado
  • 15 oz bottle of kombucha
  • 12 oz can of coconut water

Lunch:

  • Smoothie

Dinner:

  • Three ground beef slider patties with sharp cheddar cheese — no bun, just the meat
  • Red seedless grapes
  • Baby spinach

Supplements — increased dosing continues from last night: Fish oil (1), potassium (3), chelated copper (1), vitamin C (1), aspirin (2 × 325mg), NAD+ (2 caplets), NMN (2 caplets), magnesium glycinate (1), zinc picolinate (1), TMG (1), D3+K2 (1), NUSAVA B-complex liquid (1 dose).

Beetroot and turmeric are both up to 4 capsules in the morning, with another 4 of each in the evening. Ashwagandha is now two products in rotation — a 1,400mg formula and a 1,500mg formula — roughly 4 capsules of each, morning and night. Evening dose tonight confirmed at 4 turmeric/curcumin, 4 beetroot, 2 aspirin, 4 ashwagandha — standing in for ibuprofen to manage evening inflammation, swelling, and pain.

Exercise:

3/4 mile walk after breakfast, injections, and supplements.

Wound / pain:

Sciatic nerve pain is a little better than yesterday. Still sharp pain on the bottom of the left foot — described as feeling like there's no skin there. The wound sites hurt when they dry out and crack, but leaving them dry on purpose rather than keeping them moist, to let them heal.

Being off ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and naproxen keeps feeling like a genuine cleanse — able to feel the body again instead of it being masked by NSAIDs. Only medication left in the mix is standard aspirin, 2 × 325mg daily.

Pain pattern:

First thing in the morning, before any supplements, the back is killing me and the feet hurt acutely as soon as I start walking. Over the next couple of hours, as the body warms up and the supplements kick in, the back gets better and the feet go from sharp pain to numb — and numb is actually easier and less painful to walk on than the acute early-morning pain.

Note on the smoothie/sugar link:

Today's lunch smoothie, unlike the Day 7 dinner smoothie, didn't trigger a foot-pain spike. So the sugar-pain connection noted yesterday may not be a consistent trigger — still tracking it.
