Day 3. August 10th, 2026. Arizona.
Up at 5:30 AM. Got a short walk in before breakfast. That's a good sign — moving is good for circulation, and circulation is exactly what we're trying to fix.
Breakfast (~7:05 AM):
- 2 eggs scrambled, sea salt and heavy black pepper
- ~7 pieces of bacon
- 15.2 fl oz Kevita live probiotic kombucha, pineapple peach
The bacon and eggs are doing double duty — protein for tissue repair, and fat as the delivery vehicle for the fat-soluble supplements (turmeric, D3, K2, fish oil, ashwagandha). The kombucha adds live cultures for gut health. Gut integrity matters for absorption.

Stopping NSAIDs:
This is a significant change. I've been taking ibuprofen, naproxen, and acetaminophen for pain and swelling. Not anymore — at least not today, and the goal is to stop them entirely.
The reason: NSAIDs interfere with the prostaglandin signaling that drives the early stages of tissue repair. BPC-157 is trying to trigger angiogenesis and healing. Chronically blunting that inflammatory signal with NSAIDs works against it. Aspirin is staying — it's a blood thinner, which matters with DVT in both legs, and it works differently from ibuprofen and naproxen.
Injection — 7:20 AM Arizona time:
- BPC-157: 10 units (500mcg)
- Subcutaneous, right side of navel (rotating from Day 1 left side)
Three days in. Watching the ankle.
